IF YOU ANSWERED YES, THEN THIS WORKSHOP IS FOR YOU!
Owning a dog that has separation anxiety or over dependency issues is upsetting, not just for the dog, but also for the owner. The trouble with this behaviour is that it will just become more severe if not addressed, and other inappropriate behaviours can also develop. A total 'no win' situation and not fair to either dog or owner.
The sooner it is addressed the better - a dog like this is simply not coping and desperately needs help - the condition will not go away by itself, it will get worse. In this workshop, you will be given all the tools to change the behaviour, and all that is required from you is to do the work necessary and be totally consistent and follow the modifications.

All that is happening if your dog is acting like this is that it is simply not coping. Approximately 98% of aggression is fear based and the trouble is that the current behaviour of being aggressive will just escalate. The more you pull against the dog, the more it will react towards the other dog, and the more you shout, the more the behaviour you don't want will increase.
A walk should be a wonderful experience for you and your dog, not a nightmare for you both. What often happens is that owners simply give up taking their dogs out and then boredom and frustration sets in and other behaviour concerns develop.
There are no 'magic wands' to change the behaviour being handed out, however you will be given the tools and knowledge to change the behaviour and all you then need to do is to be consistent and do the work - Scotty is here to assist you to do this.

- Extreme Anxiety Dog Behaviour Spray to reduce stress levels and help your dog cope - when we are stressed it is impossible for us to learn anything new and this spray will 'take the edge' off the dog's anxiety and make it easier for it to learn a new way of reacting. These sprays are organic, herbal based and 100% safe. They go a long way towards helping to reduce the fear and stress the dog feels when exposed to other dogs.
- Ongoing e-mail assistance over the few weeks we are working together during the week. Each and every dog is an individual and can react in different ways - by being constantly in touch will allow us to 'tweak' anything that is needed to suit your own dog.

A bit about Beagle in Mind.
Our Vision
Beagle in Mind is an educational trust aimed at ultimately seeing fewer Beagles (& other dogs through the knock-on-effect that education can have) enter the rescue system.
Having been involved in rescuing and rehoming as well as fostering we realised that so many people were giving up their hounds due to inexperience/not understanding the breed/feeling they are alone. We wanted to create an accessible and affordable platform in which a community can come together to educate people about their beloved hounds and establish/reconnect the communication channels between owners and dogs.
We will work with any and all organisations that have the welfare, well-being and betterment of the breed at heart and share the passion for the Beagle breed in general.
