NAUGHTY PUPPY / ADOLESCENT SESSION

Sometimes it does not matter what you do, or what you have taught your pup, just like kids, some pups are naughtier than others and outside help is needed. The one thing for sure, is that if the behaviour is not attended too, it will just keep on getting worse - it won't just improve by itself or go away when your pup gets older!
It is no co-incidence that the majority of dogs are surrendered to shelters between 6 - 12 months of age. The majority of these dogs are not 'bad' at all, their owners just did not have the knowledge and tools to change the behaviour.
Adolescence is a really difficult time for a dog and could be compared to having a teenager in the home! The quicker you get help to turn the behaviour around, the better. The session will take place in the comfort of your own home, and I do have facilities for you to come to my premises if preferred. .
What to expect
On average, common behaviour problems don't need more than one session to resolve - if, on receiving back your questionnaire, I can see that more than one session will be required - you can either decide on the work we can achieve in one session, or book a second session which will be arranged between us.
Giving you the tools to change the behaviour in one session, does not mean that I wave a magic wand and the behaviour disappears! I will explain to you why the behaviour is occurring and give you the tools to overcome and change same. However, it will be up to you to do the actual work - no short cuts and commitment and consistency is required.
On contacting me, I will send you a questionnaire which is very comprehensive, and gives me a good understanding as to why the behaviour occurred in the first place, factors contributing to same and also highlights possible future concerns. We then set up an appointment for your session.
Your session will be in the region of 1.5 to 2 hours in duration and will take place in the home and you will be left with a lot of work to do.
You are given a comprehensive summary of the work to be done, as there will be a lot on average.
I don't just disappear - I am available to you for the following two weeks by email, to help and guide you should you have questions, or need any help - no additional charge.
