Foundation Course 

MODULE 4
(Gauteng)



INVESTMENT : R4000 - which is payable with a deposit of R500, followed by up to 12 monthly payments - no interest is charged. Twelve months to complete this Module.

CERTIFICATE ON SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION - Canine Behaviour Advisor Level 1
PRACTICAL SESSIONS - As below - Undertaken by arrangement, in either Edenvale, Modderfontein or Lyndhurst areas and the majority of these sessions take place on a Saturday morning, with a few being full day. Students will be given the dates for same when enrolling for this course. 66

  • Students will present practical sessions to fellow students. This gives you further skills by way of presenting and working with clients.
  • Students to accompany qualified behaviourist on at least 3 behaviour consultations. 
  • Two Role Play Sessions. Here students will present to Instructor as if a client. Questionnaires and Preplanners will be required. Full report to be submitted on completion. 
  • Three Case Studies - students will work with a client by themselves including Questionnaires, Preplan and Report. Each stage will be checked by office. 
  • Oral Exam - students will be given multiple choice questions based on various behaviour concerns to study before exam.  ​​

THEORETICAL - Very comprehensive. Sections are sent to students a few sections at a time. Each Section contains an assignment based on the information contained in the Section. There are also several Quizes which are undertaken every few sections. This allows us to keep in touch with students and give them the personal attention they deserve.

No additional reading material is required as all contained in the course - however, we do supply links for students to read further, so they wish too. We are available to students Monday to Friday and welcome their interaction and any questions or querries.

  • Breed Research - Students will undertake research on one breed from each of the Breed Groups, based on best home, compatability with other dogs, animals and children, exercise and stimulation requirements, possible health concerns, possible behaviour concerns.
  • ​Cross Breeds
  • Masters - Students will prepare their own copies of some of the Master Behaviour Modifications for future dealings with clients. 
  • Setting up a business - How to promote your future behaviour consulting business
  • Setting up a business - .Legal and bylaws
  • Final Quiz - Based on full course.
