Private Lessons
As the majority of dog training classes take place at weekends, not everybody can go to them due to busy family and work commitments. Training your dog in the comfort of your own home allows you to undertake this in your own time, have one-on-one attention and the lesson is designed to meet your own unique needs. This allows you to really concentrate on the areas you want covered, not just the standard exercises taught in a class situation. I will help you to identify these needs and develop a customized training plan for you and your dog.

Furthermore, it allows the trainer to become familiar with the handling practises and personality of both the dog and the owner. As I am also an accredited behaviour consultant (ABC of SA), I have both the knowledge, experience and tools to advise you if any behavioural concerns are noted.

In addition to this, you will receive detailed notes and information on all the exercises that are covered, as well as learn to understand why dogs act in certain ways. Should you live in a town house and not have sufficient space, private lessons can be undertaken in 1st Avenue, Edenvale at Don Mattera (previously Norman House) in a totally safe environment for you, your dog and your vehicle.
